Building on foundational IT systems audit knowledge, the programme teaches control-audit methodology — how to plan, test, evidence, and report on IS controls, distinct from IT system operation — across 10 modules spanning IS audit foundations, regulations as audit criteria, control frameworks and types of controls, ITGC audit, application controls audit, IS audit testing/sampling/evidence, IT project audit, CAATs for IS control testing, IS audit reporting/CCCER drafting, and an integrated capstone simulation. Public Audit - CADS-F is part of a foundation-level certification designed to be completed entirely online, with no in-person attendance requirement. CADS-F Digital Public Platforms & Privacy Audit Course is a 45-hour, fully online foundation-level certification Co-developed by IITM Pravartak and the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, and hosted on the SWAYAM Plus LMS. The programme has 8 modules covering lifecycle of personal data, data inventories and mapping, consent and data principal rights, the legal and ethical foundations of data protection, and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework. It further develops an audit-oriented understanding of risk assessment, audit design, institutional governance, third-party accountability, and user protection mechanisms in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). Through theory and case studies, participants learn to identify privacy risks and apply structured audit approaches to evaluate whether government digital systems operate in a lawful, transparent, and accountable manner.

IT Systems Audit Controls (Certification on Audit of Digital Systems — Foundation) is a 45-hour, fully online foundation-level certification for participants entering IT systems audit practice. The Cyber Security - Foundation (CADS-F) program is a fully online, 45-hour professional readiness course hosted via SWAYAM Plus. Spanning 15 comprehensive technical modules, the program is specifically tailored for officers and auditors within the IAAD / CAG network, as well as entry-level IT and cybersecurity audit practitioners. The primary objective of the curriculum is to bridge the gap between foundational technical awareness and active professional readiness. By exploring real-world attack vectors and utilizing continuous, scenario-driven case study evaluations (combining 30 hours of theoretical learning with 15 hours of individual research case studies), the course cultivates a proactive, risk-focused defensive mindset. It establishes the baseline technical and oversight principles required to evaluate core corporate infrastructure, networks, applications, and cloud environments while aligning them to Indian regulatory laws (such as the DPDPA 2023) and strategic governance frameworks. Ultimately, this foundational tower serves as a mandatory checklist and stepping stone, positioning learners to seamlessly transition into the subsequent Proficient and Expert level auditing curriculums.
